Because Mystery Boy sounds like a superhero. And I also think "Mystery" will fit into the name entry screen. :P

It sounds like no matter what, they want you to not get the idea of your rival's name from the game. :P

I'm sure that the game will allow you to not enter anything and it will default to something, though. I know in my Japanese SoulSilver, I entered nothing, and his name is "Heart". (Worst name ever...)

I definately named him ???? my first playthrough. I was born in 93, this game game out in what, 2000 or 2001? So I was like 8 or something. I was so dumb back then. It took me TWO years to beat Ocarina of time. LOL
