How long should I wait before I sell my copy?

I have the box, manual, instructions, and everything in mint condition. How long do I wait before it's "rare"?

People can just by it cheaper on Amazon. Why would you want to sell a very good game?

Well I guess I just got tired of Pokemon. I didn't outgrow it per se, but I just got tired of it after gen 4.

Wow I feel sorry for you TC, I took a break from Pokemon but FR/LG and HG/SS are the games to always keep as they are remakes of gen 1 and 2 the golden age of Pokemon which almost everyone loved the franchise.

I'd keep HG as you may want to play it again some day but I doubt it will be any time soon before its "valuable" as if you opened it part of the value has already gone down.

^ well obviously, but in time I'll be able to sell it for a lot more. The only thing it's missing is the pokewalker and that's a free edition anyways.

I guess the same amount of time it takes any game to become "rare". 20-25 years? Even then, I doubt that it will be worth that much more. If by rare you mean valuable that is.

trying to make money off of video games is stupid. also considering HG/SS are still very easily acessable and will be on the internet/floating around second hand for years to come your wasteing your time thinking you will make money off of it. even if you have the classic R/B/Y right now which are much older games unless they are brand spanking new they are pretty worthless.

Since the games are widely distributed and easily available they will probably never be worth a lot in the future. And without the Pokéwalker it isn't complete so worth even less.

Just stack it up and wait some time until you feel like playing again.
