So I'm trying to do this type-team thing for the first time.

Any recommendations on the pokemon I should use?

I need as much help as a possible.

Would make sure Stealth Rock and Sandstorm are moves you use on the team.

As for pokemon:

Bronzong
Metagross
Skarmory
Magnezone
Lucario
Empoleon
Heatran
Forretress
Scizor
Jirachi

All these pokes are great choices.

Most steel types have a low special defense, but high attack and defense. Try and fit Lucario and Skarmory in if you can, as they are both fast and have good stats. I personally don't focus on one type (so I can avoid being destroyed like a Rocket Grunt) so I can't put a solid team together. Just focus on each pokemon's stats and teach them a variety of moves.

I'd say that Aggron deserves some consideration. Sure it's not the best Pokemon around, but when you're limiting yourself to only steel types, he suddenly becomes a bit more viable.
