I am currently in the process of building a new team to play against some friends with, as well as online possibly, and was curious as to how effective this prospective team might be. Criticisms and suggestions are all welcome.

Typhlosion (Modest- 252 SpAtk/ 252 Spd)- Flamethrower, Focus Blast, Solar Beam, Sunny Day

Starmie (Modest- 252 SpAtk/ 252 Spd)- Surf, Psychic, Thunderbolt, Ice Beam

Heracross (Jolly- 252Atk/ 252Spd)- Close Combat, Earthquake, Megahorn, Stone Edge

Mamoswine(Jolly- 252 Atk/ 252Spd)- Earthquake, Superpower, Ice Fang, Stone Edge

Mismagius (Modest- 252 SpAtk/ 252 Spd)- Shadow Ball, Energy Ball, Thunderbolt, Psychic

Smeargle (Timid- 252 Spd/ 252 Hp)- Spore, Lock-On, Sheer Cold, Aeroblast

The smeargle is quite cheap. No one wants to take a forced sheer cold.
Erm... i'd suggest replacing typhlosion with a fire type of higher standard. Typhlosion never stands up greatly to any attack.
Infernape/Blaziken/Heatran all function within the OU bracket.

I actually made a slight mod to my team, which involved taking out Smeargle and Mismagius and replacing them with this:


Jumpluff (Jolly- 252 Atk/ 252 Spd/ 4 SpDef)- Sleep Powder, Swords Dance, Seed Bomb, Bounce

Rotom (Wash) (Timid- 252 SpAtk/ 252 Spd/ 4 SpDef)- Hydro Pump, Shadow Ball, Thunderbolt, Thunder Wave

Also, I like Typhlosion because he has a pretty decent speed and special attack, which what I was going for. I thought about Houndoom, but too many damn weaknesses for his own good, honestly.
