DevoidLightPosted 9/19/2012 6:09:00 PM | I have almost no experience with the Battle Frontier, except for a short-lived, totally unsuccesful attempt in Emerald. I've been trying the Factory, the plan being to save up BPs to buy items to help me properly raise pokemon for the other events, but I have no idea what I'm doing. I've been trying Lv 50 double battles, but I only make it to about 3 battles. I know that since the pokemon are random there's no set strategy, but as a noob are there any particular hints I need to know about? Am I even going about the Battle Fronteir the right way?
TL;DR: How do I not suck at the Battle Factory? |
KibalnuzukaPosted 9/20/2012 12:49:22 AM | before picking pokemon look at the moves and items it has and if the moves and item go well with each other (like rest+chesto berry for instant recovery) and dont have too many pokes with the same weakness because that one type might knock out your whole team, that's all the hints i can give tbh --- THE GAME. You lost it. Check my profile for FCs. |
omgitsjustmePosted 9/20/2012 5:11:16 AM | 1) Go for single battles. Thats the only way to reach the brain, which gives moar bp 2) Check the stats, as well as the moves and whether its viable 3) If you play competative, you should know the top tier pokemon. Keep an eye out for them --- My sister: http://www.zerochan.net/1153617 My wife: http://www.zerochan.net/205383 |
mnkysprnPosted 9/20/2012 6:41:22 AM | Keep swapping out pokemon after every battle. Best way to do things is try to grab a poke that gave a lot of trouble in the previous battle, or if the poke seems to have a good move set/item.
You will get more powerful pokes @ the start then. --- OT: Black FC: 1721 2588 4695 Official Metagross of the Pokemon boards |
