PP Up farming

Whats the best way to gather PP Ups in large quantities? So far I've been using the Pokeathlon and training a Pickup pokemon to 81, but is there a quicker way?

Actually there is.
It does require:
A DS lite
Pokemon Emerald (Completed up to the Frontier and with Access to a pp max)
Pokemon HG/SS

Clone as many desired pokemon holding ppmax on emerald as desired. You only need to clone 4/5ths of a box (I.e. 24 pokemon) to have enough pp max to max all moves pp on all 6 pokemon in the team.

Otherwise there is no quicker way.

sorry there was supposed to be a "/" to differentiate it, it escaped my notice. But the method and general message behind the post is flawless other than that.

Not really bro.

But you are overlooking one source. Route 45 Black Belt Gives them out at noon on random days. Best of luck man.

You can also save in front of Felicity, the Lucky Number lady in Goldenrod City, before midnight and wait for the date to roll over. After it does, you can talk to her and keep resetting until she draws a number that matches two digits to your Pokemon, which will give you a PP Up as a prize. You can get one a day this way.

Thanks for the responses. I was hoping not to have to cheat. The lottery and Route 45 Black Belt ideas seem to have some promise. I currently have a lv 91 Linoone with Pick Up but PP Ups are way too rare. If anyone else actually cares the Suburban Area Pokewalker course after 5000 steps has been somewhat sucessful.
