Always wanted to write that...
Anyway, I've been enjoying your videos, but I noticed something strange. In one of your videos, I saw a pokemon using the move X-Scissor on a Venomoth, and the move dealt Super Effective damage. What's up with that?

I mean, I know it's a hack, but did they change the move's type or something?

Yes actually. Venomoth has been changed to a Bug/Psychic, and there are some other type changes like Electivire is now Electric/Fighting, and Luxray is Electric/Dark. Glad you're enjoying the videos as well! = D

That's pretty cool.
They also made some cool in-game changes, like TR taking over the Safari Zone, and being much stronger than before. I remember in the original games that they were total wimps, the grunts barely passed level 20 in the Mahogany Hideout. I stomped them easily using a level 40+ Kadabra (yes, I like to grind a lot lol).
By the way, congratulations on beating Jasmine with no losses :)

Hey, nice videos. I'm playing Storm silver right now which is just like heartgold, and I can say it's alot more interesting to say the least. I don't think i've ever had 4 pokemon defeated by a bug catcher in bugsy's gym, lol. I kinda regret doing a nuzlocke on one of dray's hacks -__-

I hope you keep posting vids soon, they help me get ideas for my playthrough.

What is a nuzlocke challenge? Is it like a league?

Rule 1: If a Pokemon faints it dies. Release it or put it in a box marked 'RIP'.
Rule 2: You can only catch the first Pokemon you see in an area. If you don't catch it you can't try again.

There's a bunch of optional rules like having to nickname your Pokemon so that you get attached to them or no catching legendary Pokemon but the above two are required.

I actually just bought Fire Red to try one when I get the time to dedicate to it.

Heck, try doing fire red omega or the game the OP is trying as a nuzlocke, you start to think it'll be easy cuz they give you good pokemon real early like metagross, vaporeon/jolteon/umbreon/espeon, one of each gen's starter, salamence/garchomp etc.. but it doesn't matter because even if you overlevel you still lose pokemon alot due to the stat increases dray put on the trainer/wild pokemon.

I had my level 38 starmie die in one hit to a level 24 machop, lol. And don't even get me started on morty's gengar, max IV's and EV's with shadow ball, thunderbolt, giga drain, hypnosis, lol. It's a slaughter.

Happy to see people enjoying the videos and joining in on the conversation! = D I haven't played Omega Red, but I've seen some videos and seen just how hard that game gets. Not sure if I could do that one. ^_^; Anyways, I've been super busy so I haven't posted here, but I dod have 3 new videos!

Safari Zone time! Lots of new friends, and lots of potentially dead friends. Only time will tell.

Something strange is going on at the Lake of Rage. Looks like it's time to investigate!

Vid 30

Team Rocket is back, this time in control of the problems around the Lake of Rage. Time to infiltrate their hidden base in Mahogany Town and take them down from the inside!

As a side note, these videos take a fair amount of time to edit, but as minor spoilers...

I have actually finished the E4

You beat the E4? congrats! Does Lance have a legit Dragonite this time (Level 55+) or does he still have a "Haxonite" (Level 50-54)?
#39ArrestedGaming(Topic Creator)Posted 10/8/2013 5:00:16 PM
His Dragonite is fully legit this time, and his team isn't much different from his original team outside of levels. Also, I'll have videos posted tomorrow for the next 2 parts. Behind again on posting here. ^_^;
