Ninetales (playing soul silver) Leftovers / flash fire Hasty, 252 hp, 64 speed, rest into sp atk Will o wisp Confuse ray Nasty plot Flame thrower
Cripples and a cool sweeper but gotta find something to set up on to be useful.
Third slot idk, I need something that won't leave a huge weakness in my team and still has valuable type coverage.
I can't trade so no gengar, scizor, kingdra, etc I don't wanna wait in the safari zone for months so salamence and other safari zone mons are out of question. I don't have access to D/P/Pt so Empoleon, garchomp, etc are unavailable. --- If you don't have anything nice to say, say it on the internet.

I usually run two sweepers and a wall, in case I need to stall them out.
Starmie is great it can hit Palmer's team for Super Effective damage. Ninetales can't, and in fact, all three resist Fire (x0.5)
Starmie can probably one-shot Rhyperior and Dragonite, but it can't do it to Milotic. That leaves it open to be possibly put to Sleep.
I just found out Rhyperior holds Focus Band, so if he survives a hit, he can Roar you out, or Crunch (a probable one-shot to Starmie).
In SS you have access to bulky-waters Suicune, Lapras, and Vaporeon, as well as Swampert or Blastoise, if you chose their Starters.
Skarmory, Heracross, Tyranitar, Blissey - all good Pokemon you should have access to. --- "Guys Like You Make Us Look Bad"
Ninetales isn't permanent. I just wanted a cool sweeper but it isn't getting much use and fire typing kinda sucks.
I also have a tyranitar but its not EV trained (they're all over the place), has a neutral nature and apparently crap IVs says the battle tower guy. He seems to get 2HKOd by most things. Considering raising a new one.
I do have a swampert who's been EV trained considering using him but didn't know if I'd have enough type coverage. --- If you don't have anything nice to say, say it on the internet.
