Help with my team

#1misery013Posted 8/3/2014 11:52:41 PM
I'm in the middle of the game and I think I have the team I want. I only play PvE mostly so yea ev and natures are not a huge deal. Well some natures are lol. Anyway here is my team.

Heracross who is my main physical damage dealer. Brick Break and Mega Horn are to moves I'm keeping no matter what. Not sure for the other to....

Magmar for his all around good attack, spec attack. Will use Flamethrower, Thunderpunch, (Ice Punch?????) not sure for last move

Sudowoodo for decent offense and great tanking. Not sure at all for moves...... Never really used him much.

Krabby/Kingler my water type and back up physical damage dealer with tank stats. Steel Claw, X-Scissor, Crab Hammer, Harden..... Lol

Amphoros forspec attack and my electric type
Not sure on moves besides Discharge......

Butterfree my cheese specialist :)
Sleep powder, Shadow Ball, Stun powder, not sure for last move....

Anyway that's what I have so for..... I'm no expert on pokemon so any help is much appreciated!!

How far in the game are you?

What happened to your starter? And the free Eevee?

"Anything works in-game" but obviously some things are better than others.

You already have a much better bug-type in Heracross, so Butterfree isn't really needed. I love it and all but it starts getting crappy after a certain point. If you want a better cheese Pokemon, Jumpluff will be much better, and it gets leech seed.

Ampharos and Magmar are good picks for their types, and are popular for that reason.

Kingler is pretty crappy, even in-game. It's slow and can't take a special attack to save its life. There are so many better water-types available, like Gyarados, Kingdra, Starmie, Vaporeon, Lanturn, Feraligatr, etc...

Sudowoodo is also pretty bad. If you want a better rock-type, Rhydon is really strong. Heck even Golem would be better than Sudowoodo.

Depending on how far you are I'd also recommend a Psychic-type, Alakazam and Espeon can sweep most in-game trainers by themselves.

I have 6 badges at this point and just caught the Red Gyarados with adamant nature :D I really like your picks so I ditched Sudowoodo and got Rhydon. Now I'm stuck with who I want to replaced butterfree with. Honestly, I was thinking Wigglytuf, no joke. I know she's not the best but she's one of my favs. What do you think?

Oh I ditched the starter because I'm not a fan of the three in this gen :/ Also I totally forgot about Bill and his Eevee.... Lol

Pick up that Eevee, and if you want to use Wigglytuff case it's one of your favorites go ahead!
