It's for in-game, so I'm not going to bother breeding it for extremespeed, but I'm trying to decide when is the best time since the attacks come so far apart. Obviously, I can't have the attacks I'd like (thunderfang, crunch, extremespeed, and firefang), but what is a good second? --- http://www.sloganizer.net/en/style7,Stant.png http://i313.photobucket.com/albums/ll397/Stant0447/1236345.jpg
Tricky. Basically you have to pick whether you want Extremespeed or Flare Blitz. If you want Extremespeed, evolve it after you learn Flamethrower in time for level 39, when Arcanine learns Extremespeed. If you want Flare Blitz, Growlithe learns it at level 48. Your call, but you can't have both. --- Anyone who sees life as anything less than pure entertainment is missing the point. -George Carlin 1937-2008
Stat wise it doesnt matter, the way starts are calculated in pokemon evolving it at level 1 or at level 100 will not make a difference... Wait until it learns all the level up moves you want and then fire stone it

skills wise, pre evolve learns things faster but evolved forms gets better moves...
This was never true. It was one of the myths, like Rare Candies made you weaker. Never true, just the misinformed ramblings of us all when we were ignorant of the way the sliding scale the system really used. --- Anyone who sees life as anything less than pure entertainment is missing the point. -George Carlin 1937-2008
I guess I'll make it fire fang, extremespeed, flamethrower, and bite.
Bite is only marginally weaker than crunch, plus it has the flinch-factor. Fire fang and flamethrower can be used against people depending on their defense or special defense, and extremespeed is a priority attack.
