How to boost exp?

I wonder i can i boosted exp, cuz i check some videos and i saw a guy getting boosted EXP and he didn't have lucky egg, so any one know hat is the trick?

All traded pokemon receive a 1.5 exp boost, he probably traded with himself.

Oh i see, so that's how it works.

Yes, trade with yourself but make sure to have 2 DS also you can migrate but you don't get that much of a boost. Lucario gets on average 4000exp when traded good thing I got one back finally.

^ The boost you get from migrating a Poke is the same as you get from trading. Different OT, 1.5 EXP multiplier.

if you have a lucky egg the exp is boosted to x2

Lucky egg gives 1.5x multiplier to exp.

Traded pokes gain 1.5x exp.

If you have both you get 2.25x exp.

Just note that the traded multiplier only comes into effect if the pokemon doesn't belong to you so if you traded a pokemon to a differnet game then traded it back it would still get non boosted exp even though it was traded due to the trainer ID and secret ID matching.
