Red over Blue, Gold over Silver, Ruby over Sapphire, FireRed over LeafGreen and Diamond over Pearl.

WE CAN'T LET THIS HAPPEN WITH SOUL SILVER.

I'm with you, but to be honest, being on a less popular board has its charms. For example, the greater sense of community. I'm starting to get to know all the users here already.

So true.

Though Pearl and Silver are the only boards I feel should surpass the "Red" Version of each generation.

hmm well I always just went with the version that appeals to me, silver was that version!!!

Same here. With the exception of Diamond, I've always gone with the "blue" version each generation because the colors just happen to appeal to me more.

Though when you think about it, Diamond was more "blue" than Pearl.

I agree, the boards with the larger communities are much more troublesome... they're filled with trolls and stupidity.
