My Mic Is Not Working With COD Black Ops

hi, the tittle says it all, so my problem is that my microphone is not working on black ops, i got it set in accessories, i click to run the game, i go on zombies, join a game and when i talk, nothing happends... not even the microphone sign apears!?!? help please?!? thanks for reading!!!

Ok go to audio device settings & check if input device DOES NOT SAY "Do Not Use" if so, then change it to your microphone's name.

finally when i go to accessories > audio device settings > ( my microphone ) when i talk, its working, but in the game its not working... wierd, i restarted my game, then my ps3, still don't work...

You might have to press a button on your mic to get it to turn on

There are issues with the mic symbol showing up, so it might fool you.

There's a difference between: "On", and "connected".

Just try it.

Even though it may be connected in one screen, the test screen, when you leave, the connection will drop, and you have to press the button again

trying this right now
