Attributes: Some New and Some Improved

#1LTJbadboy28Posted 6/20/2009 6:10:54 PM
Here's a way they could work and work right.
1) Be able to switch attributes as YOU see
2) Take out OBJECT and TABLE. Everybody should be able to do those.
3) People with SUBMISSION only attribute should have LOCK PICK automatically
4) DO NOT give people random attributes just because they don't have anything. Give them something they could actually be good at in real life.
5) Have a special DIVA ONLY attribute, like Crowd Love or Crowd Taunt (kind of like Fan Favorite) When their meter is full, they should do something like blow a kiss to the audience, or some kind of sexy strut as a taunt.
6) Have a DIRTY PLAYER/FAN FAVORITE attribute. Similar to FAN FAVORITE, but it's for heels. Instead of fan favorite clapping or something, they could give some nasty gestures to the crowd. It would be the same attribute, depending on if you choose them as a face or heel character.
7) Have an INTERFERENCE attribute. This would be for heel only attribute. During the match, hit R3 or L3, and have an interference occur, however it will cost you the match. After the ref rings the bell, you jump to a cut scene of the "winner" getting a beat down by 2 wrestlers. Also, the interfering wrestler would have to be a heel and also from the same brand.
8) PARKING LOT attribute: Your character will excel in the Parking Lot Brawl matches, just as Ladder Match and Cage Match attributes. You take less damage than the opponent without this attribute, and you also have special attacks with the cars that the opponent without cannot do. Also, PARKING LOT attribute should also give you a special finisher, like a AA through the hood of a car, or something like that.

If anybody would like to add anything I haven't thought of, feel free.

1. Able to switch attributes as you acquire them is cool.
2. I agree on object and table, that's just stupid. If they want certain superstars to do something different with each of those weapons. Assign them in the movelists.
3. People with SUBMISSION only attribute should have LOCK PICK automatically. I think everyone should be able to make someone tap, wether or not they're a submission expert or not.
4. I think attributes should be given right away for customization. Afterwards certain attributes can be leveled up as you progress through career/story.
5. THe Diva only attribute is similar to fanfavorite attribute. I don't think they need anything extra.
6. Dirty/fanfavorite attribute again doesn't go well with certain superstars that's definitely a fan favorite, but doesn't "clap" taker is prone to this. Same goes with some baby faces that use weapons, but they still cheer for him.
7. Interference can happen to either heel or face. instead of cutscene, you should be able to do whatever you want to the "winner"
8. Instead of any match attribute, how about you have an attribute of a defensive capability. Enviromental finishers should be available to everyone. That's like limiting people to not be able to use weapon finishers.

In 2009 you don't have to have the Submission ability to make someone tap. Good job at bashing a game obviously haven't spent much time playing.

I mean I didn't like GTA 4, but I mean I at least played through the game before I critized it.

I happened to have played 2009. I went through all the modes, most of the matches. I still remember
there was something that was off.

"Submission Specialist: Opponents can tap to non-finisher submission moves." - taken from the manual.

YOu need to be a submission specialist, in order to tap someone out without using a finisher. John Cena is one of that example with his STFU.

SVR 2007 and above. Have implemented the submission ability to all the wrestlers. This way if they want to submit someone they can do so without having to be an expert at submission, and it doesn't have to be their finisher.

Since Smackdown only have 2 finisher slots, you might have to sacrifice a move you want in order to fill it in for a submission.

It's like Removing the Rock's Rockbottom in favor for the sharpshooter finisher.

So, having the ability to still make your opponent tap out without the submission ability is a good idea. Not to mention giving the rest of the submission holds a SS system would be nice.

I don't have to play the game to criticize it, even though I have played through it. That's like I can't criticize a bad game design or concept from watching the footage.

Go more ambelina?

Actually John cena is one of the characters that needs a finisher to be able to make his opponent taps. Despite him not having a submission ability.

Without the submission ability one can still tap out to an SS-submission even if it is in a signature spot and not a finisher.

Wrong again, play the game then complain please.

Oh that's great. Except I want those signature moves to be something else other than submission holds. But I want to still be able to submit someone.

Oh speaking of submission, Taz is a submission specialist but his finisher doesn't make people submit. I WONDER what Ambelina can come up with this time to defend Yukes' so obvious mistake!

Learn to know how t play a videogame then you can defend Yuke's mistakes please.

I'm not the one making erroneous complaints about the game. If anything YOU need t learn how to play a videogame.

But furthermore, Yukes didn't want people to tap out to the Tazmission what can I say? They need to add more SS submission moves no one would argue otherwise, in fact I've said that before.

While we are talking about finishers, Melina's California Dream is a submissions finisher that is neither a SS nor have I ever gotten someone to tap to it even when they are totally in the red in the affected areas.

Also, I think the KO ability just needs to be for everyone as theoretically, moves as diverse as Maryse's French Kiss to Miz's Reality Check to HHH's Pedigree can KO someone. It really should just be if the opponent's head is read, has been so for a while, and KOs are allowed, that any high impact finisher that drops them on their head should knock them out.
