I made a few searches but they were either unclear or weren't what I was looking for.
I was wondering whether owning the PS3 GTAIV and then buying this will make me miss out on anything. I know they are standalone games but do the original and the expansion packs have any connectivity? Is there any benefit to owning the original on the same console?
Just to make it more clear what I mean by connectivity, does like having the game save of the original make any difference for the expansions?
Actually no you will not miss anything. I even told my buddy the other day how cool it was that this came out on disc so the people who own both systems but have GTA on ps3 can still play them. I didnt have a 360 when GTA first came out so i got it on PS3 but when i heard about the DLC i traded my PS3 version in for the 360 not knowing it was coming to disc down the road. I wish i still had my PS3 version now....oh well though. --- PSN: thepixies GT:ThePixies84 Wii FC:8543-1840-2074-5925
I'm in a pretty ridiculous situation myself: I originally got GTA IV on the PS3, then I bought it on the 360 when TLAD came out, bought TLAD, and then bought EFLC to have a hard copy. So I have quite a bit of overlap, but I don't care because GTA is my favorite series of all time.

Well, I'm happy to see that I'm not the only person in this predicament. (I have a 360 and PS3, but got GTAIV for the PS3, I'll probably be asking for EfLC for the 360 for Christmas) --- Remember everyone, Monday is now Maysday, type in all caps! Also, "amazing" is now "amaysing". R.I.P.
