You don't. Any call for a pass is a bad call for a pass. Yes even if you are standing alone wide open in the paint

Cryptic is actually wrong when it comes to a good call.

I don't know about you guys, but whenever I pass it to Kobe or Allen(Yes Phil Jackson traded away Zach Randolph in the Offseason for Ray Allen) and I hit RT+X, I somehow always get thrown an Alley. So maybe try that combo as well.

First off, Phil Jackson doesn't make trades, the GM does or the owner.

Second off, how did the Lakers have Zach Randolph to begin with? lol

And yeah to the OP press y, doesn't usually work well though.

I don't know how to call for one,but i got one passed to me because I made a good cut to the hoop.
As far as good and bad calls for passes, you can do it without getting a bad call. My center was being double teamed in the post and I was on the wing and open, called for it.. and made it. You just can't do it too often.

I always get called for a bad pass even if I am wide open.
