MegaZeroSaberPosted 2/5/2010 6:29:54 AM | I haven't really been following progress on the game but is this going to have offline splitscreen? ie Borderlands --- also, I easily graps the concept of languages - wackyteen MZS XBL GT: Wahabio (See quote) |
Lemp35Posted 2/5/2010 11:28:48 AM | I don't remember seeing anything about split screen. If I had to make a guess I would say the only acceptable way that would work is online split screen (a la Left 4 dead) Otherwise you'd have to play with 14 bots and I just don't see that being something that this game wants to achieve. It's an option but I think they would want to give an option to avoid that.
H0RSE's topic seems to the place to get all the best info so far.

MegaZeroSaber (Topic Creator) Posted 2/6/2010 4:31:43 PM | ^ You can play L4D1-2 offline with splitscreen or online. I was referring to playing with someone on your team and doing missions against the AI, not facing each other on opposite teams.

Lemp35Posted 2/6/2010 5:36:11 PM | Sorry if I was unclear. I meant the same thing. I just think if they were going to support split screen they would have it as online split screen. If they have it as online though there is no reason why they shouldn't have it offline.
Honestly though I haven't heard anything about it either way. Hopefully they will support split screen though =) |
Lemp35Posted 2/6/2010 5:38:37 PM | Oh and after re-reading I should make this clear. The entire game is 8v8. The campaign included. So each mission is an 8v8 match. If you play offline your team and the enemy's are all bots.
Sorry if you already knew that. |
