Why Can't I Swap R1 with R2 and L1 with L2?

Why Crytek why? Its called options for heavens sake. Sigh.

inb4 the PS3 shoulder buttons are no use for shooters - funny how my hands and brain can manage to use them.

it feels like a damn FPS from the PS2 era - using L1 and R1. Lazy is right.
