In terms of Combat how would you rank them? GOW, DmC, MGR

This discussion is moot as Ninja Gaiden beats them all.

Bayonetta would like a word with you.
God Hand would like a word with you.
Devil May Cry 3 would like a word with you.

Spoke to them all, only god hand had something worth saying but with reasonable debate (in my head) it's arguments were defeated.

What debate is truly reasonable?

I can't really rank GOW due to me not playing the latest few ones due to the overwhelming sense of meh. As for the other two its a trade off.

MGR is definitely harder than DMC

DMC has more complexity, technicality and variety to its system though. The main difference here being that ( as with every DMC game I might add ) it is not required to clear the game. Its mainly for style and fun. But

So in terms of combat, MGR is more challenging, DMC has more technical depth.
That said, neither of the games are all too outstandingly hard but MGR does get a bit tricky on the VR missions.

I know it's not a hacking game, but:
NG->Vanquish->MGR->Bayonetta->DmC->GoW.

Hell and Hell mode is a joke. Its easier than DMD since the enemies have their hard mode stats. I completed all difficulties in that game without any trouble. This game actually requires skill and the player has to try unlike DmC.

I don't know what you mean by hard mode stats. If it's the health I hear that DMD is tedious because of it. And I played DMD mission 1 and got bored by how easy it was and had to switch to Hell and Hell.

The lower down the list, the less "skill" you need to be good at it. i.e. God of War can be beaten on harder difficulties by button mashing. MGR will kick your butt if you button mash.

You kidding? I'd love to see you play Hell and Hell mode on DmC and say that Revengeance/Very Hard mode on this game is easier.

it's not harder than Ninja Gaiden 2's master ninja mode
