Quick Save

Okay. So this game is awesome. I hope for Nintendo that the sales are great -- we might just have a NSMBW2!

Gotta ask you though, what's the deal with the quick save thing? It says you can only continue once using this save...

By the way, just played SMB on an original NES (best game on best console) after beating the first castle of W3 on NSMBW and boy is the speed of SMB much faster! Mario is quicker than a rocket. Took a couple of moves to get used to the controls of SMB, even though I play this game quite regularly still -- many times a week in fact!

It does what it says. You save and then quit. You go back and continue. It doesnt save permantly. It just saves where your at in a level so you can continue later.

It lets me save anytime, anywhere on a map so I don't have to beat a boss to save my progress?

Yes. Be sure to quicksave again each time you want to exit the game and haven't been prompted to save after a castle.

Oh, and if you quicksave, play again later (and don't save via castle) and fail to create another quicksave, you'll lose ALL progress up to the point you last saved via castle.
