Do I NEED To Play The First Two Games To Enjoy This?

Topic. I want a new DS game and I'm leaning towards this game, but I never played the first two and have no intentions of buying them. Should I go for it?

I played this one before the other 2 and enjoyed it. They do a lot of recap so ppl like us don't feel lost!

(btw, don't listen to Cthulhu_ when he posts, he is our resident troll and almost kept me from buying this game.)

You don't need to, but they're considerably better so I'd recommend it. What do you have against buying them exactly?

Actually, I think the general consensus has been that you may enjoy it more having not played the first two games. The Golden Sun world is great, enjoy!

I just don't find GBA games that enjoyable. If I enjoy this though, I'll probably give them a purchase if they come to the 3DS VC.

This is probably true. I played the first two and the first two are 100 times better than this. Not that this is bad. This is 7/10 whereas the first two are 11/10. If you want the best experience, play this first then the first GS then Lost Age.
