Should Golden Sun 4 innovate or be more of the same?

This is very possible. Ocarina of Time was ported to 3DS and played quite amazingly. The touch screen could be used in a similar way, have a bunch of field psynergy always on the touch screen, and push one to activate it.

“Ported” being the word there. To ask them to completely make a new engine to redo the entire look of the game is pushing it. We’re already on pins and needles with getting a 4th game as it is.

Couldn't they just "port" the Dark Dawn foundation and work from that? By adding in the 2nd half of the story, higher levels of difficulty, Battle mode, wifi capabilities, *sigh* 3D..., etc., wouldn't that be easier for them?
