Is this the only Metroid with zero sequence breaks?

SBing is one of my favorite aspects of Metroid. Metroid Zero Mission and Metroid Prime were loaded with them, but the rest of the games didn't have too many.

I thought MP3 had no SB's, but sure enough the community SB'd it up. I would love for another sequence breaking romp, but it's not mandatory for me.

Maybe. But you know Adam has to authorize all your equipment instead of you SBing to get it. :-/

Unless Team Ninja didn't think that far.

its a combination of getting authorization and finding items so sequence breaking is a small maybe.and SBing is one of my most favorite things to do, i always loved getting the plasma beam before fighting thadius (the ice boss i forgot his name)

This game is not looking good for speedrunners. You can't even bomb jump too high because of invisible ceilings. :/ I hope people find some good tricks, but I won't hold my breath for anything major.

As far as I know, Metroid II technically doesn't have sequence breaks, because you need to destroy certain numbers of Metroids in order to go deeper into the planet.

your limited forced bomb jumping height and invisible walls make me think it's not really possible.

You know I forgot to mention this, and I think you're right. I know for a fact that Fusion also seems unbreakable, but it's easy to sequence break.

Let's hope there's ONE mistake the devs made, and that leads to a plethora of SBs. Kind of like getting the double jump 5 minutes into the game in Metroid Prime lol.

I didn't like Metroid 2, though Metroid 1 and Super were much better.
