Do you think the metroid series could mature?

I'd certainly love to hear Samus with the Batman voice.

It was Mature, but then Sakamoto brought it down with his generic crap.

Dark and gritty

I hope that Sakamoto doesn't think that "dark" is a surefire way of having depth. That be very stupid if he really does believe that.

The Prime games were mildly so, and Fusion a bit as well, but it could be interesting to see it go farther.

Majoras mask did it pretty well being dark. I would like to see a step further and if Samus were to speak again use Jennifer hale

Well, Majora's Mask also relied heavily on NPCs, but having a time limit of some sort could be interesting. Maybe there would be some sort of monster recently awakened digging to the surface of the games primary planet, and if it makes it, the whole planet would be obliterated, which is home to billions of inhabitants, as well as Samus trapped there. There would be several points in the game where you can do something to force it back down a certain distance, as well as an ability that slows down time. The goal would be to collect all of Samus abilities as well as parts to an old drilling machine left by the Chozo or something, and you have to go underground to destroy it.

Is Jennifer Hale the person that did Samus' minor voice effects in the Prime games?
