Metroid: Other M

It might have been really linear, and first person mode sucked kinda, but the actual 3rd Person shooter part wasn't that bad. I would've liked to have seen the game let you play the whole game in either 3rd person/1st person (like the prime games) or both. If it weren't for the awful story and the linear design though, I would go as far to say it feels like a classic Metroid game.

When did I say it was a small detail? I said I liked the gameplay a little. I thought Samus controlled well in 3rd person mode. But the linear level design drags the gameplay down a lot.

It was alright, really hated the first person aspects. 3rd person was done really well. Wall jumps and elevator sections were pretty cool as well. Shame they made the game pretty brief, only about 5 sections then its over.
