Echoes is the clear winner for me. It is one of my top 3 games of all time.

Other M is my 2nd favorite Metroid game and is in my top 10 games of all time.

Well let's see... Echoes is the best 3D game (not in my opinion), while Fusion is the best 2D game. I'll go with Fusion.

Super Metroid for sure. The graphics, Music, Atmosphere, Level design and gameplay were all well ahead of its time when it was first released. I would even go as far as to say its in my top 5 favorite games of all time.

I'm glad at least one person voted Metroid II. Not the best game in the series, but really underrated.

three way tie between Metroid Prime 1, Metroid Prime 2, and Super Metroid........ I voted for MP1, since it was the first game in the Metroid series that I played and got me into all the others.

ugh hell no prime 2 was horrible. Was there any room that WASNT blocked by rubble or a scanner for 90% of the game. NAH guess i gotta go allllll the way around because they wont let me go straight,so bloody fun no/

That final battle, THE BABY, the instance the music plays and you get the hyper beam, SO CLIMACTIC
