How long is this game?

Not really enjoying it that much. About 8 hours in so I may as well finish it and trade it in as soon as possible.

May i ask you why you aren't enjoying it? I understand not everyone is supposed to like it but if you are even remotely and RPG fan its pretty hard not to.

I never finish Crysis 2 and Lost Planet 2, bought it and only play for around 10 hours before I got bore of it.

I think TC is the same, not a gerne that he actually enjoys.

8 hours is a mere fraction of the game TC TBH.

I'm not really a huge fan of the voice acting. The battle system is a little too easy, most encounters I can just get by with auto attacks. The few battle mechanics there are are kind of convoluted and not very well explained, like the Monado Warning system. Small things like having to pick up chests after every fight, wait 2-3 seconds for them to load just to take everything is a little tedious. And the characters at this point I'm just finding are not very likable. Dunban is about the only one I like and he's pretty much the token "cool character" of the game.

You're about an 1/8th of the way through the main game and about 1/15ths through total domination. Sell it and buy something you'll enjoy cause you're not even close to beating it. :)

Or tough it out and keep playing. Who knows, maybe you'll start to get into it once you've got more time invested in it. Something is telling me this just isn't your bag though.

**Added**
I should add though that I can name a few cases where I didn't start truly enjoying a JRPG until over half ways through the game. :)

I did absolutely nothing, and it was everything I thought it could be.

3 seconds to load the loot? It's your Wii.

In 8 hours you're barely at the beginning. There's no way to beat every battle in auto-attacks, unless you overlevel, after the first bosses.

And the visions happen so you can try to change them. Sometimes what you have to do to avoid is obvious (healing so the incoming attack doesn't kills you) sometimes it's not. Simply put the visions are there so you can do whatever it's possible to prevent them from happening before the time is up. You can warn your partner and have him use an art to help make a difference, protect the party with Monado's shield, or topple/daze/debuff the enemy and cancel or delay the incoming attack.

- 8 hours, no enemies will pose serious problem in this game, until you get to the 2nd boss that is...
- there's tutorial for you to read, and how the heck can the simple "if vision use monado shield" convoluted or even need any kind of explanation beyond what the game tells you?
- 2-3 seconds? your wii is probably dying, and you're given the freedom of choice to not open the treasure chest, beat having always the item menu pop up only to discard them.
- yeah, everyone act the way most rl life people does, there's no token "I haz hard past and thus am cool"

I think this game will be better deserved on other gamer, just trade it asap.
