I love Tetsuya Takahashi, I love Yasuyuki Honne and I love Xenoblade. Man, it makes me cry because it makes me so happy that their are still developers who put their heart and soul into RPG games like Monolith Soft do. I love these guys and I think they deserve all the praise they get because they certainly deserve it. i'm pretty emotional right now because I'm drunk, but Nintendo better treat these guys right! Whenever I play Xenoblade, I can see the passion that went into it. Honestly, Square-Enix are disgusting compared to Monolith Soft. I hope the FF series literally rots and that the Xeno series flourishes because they deserve it. Tetsuya, Soraya, Honne, Suguira, I love you will all my heart, and cannot wait for your Wii U project. Your games will stay with me forever. I'm drunk but I seriously mean it, I love Monolith Soft. |

BardWannabePosted 6/24/2012 11:18:39 AM | The Wii took forever to get a good RPG, but MAN--WHAT A TITLE IT GOT! I fell in love with this game months before it was released in America; a topic on this board posted links to the game's OST, and it was absolutely mesmorizing, despite me not having any idea of the context of the songs.
I hope Monolith profits from its efforts to deliver top-quality titles; I'm glad the game was so critically well-received. |

I hope Nintendo gives them all the funds they need and more to fully realise their next title and I hope Nintendo this time markets the game to its fullest. I have a feeling that it could very well be the biggest RPG ever made, in terms of story and world design. That may be a bold statement, but considering Takahashi is known as a very ambitious director, which is clearly evident in his past works, it could hold true. |
