Memory cards can make the Wii calculate more GFLOPS than the 360. It seems like the Wii U would benifit from good looking Wii games with its BC. It would give Monolith Soft more time to improve graphics.

....do you even know what a GFLOP is? Please open your knowledge to us all and post your calculations for the Wii and 360. I'm kind of speech less. I don't know what to say. Reading this and your Wii topic post. I'm pretty sure you have no idea about anything. You kind of make me think of the kid who hears their parents cussing so you start saying it not knowing what it means. You hear a word and have no idea what it means, but decide you'll use it thinking your cool. Lol. But...

MEMORY CARDS! Last generation knew what was important. Screw online gaming, its all about the memory cards.

It would be a tortoise vs the hare scenario. Here's the break down the Xbox 360 has 355GFLOPs with 12x DVD which ranges from ~16.5-9MB/s so at its best of 16.5 MB/s and the wii has 61 GFLOPS at 90MB/s so if you have to download 16.75 Megabytes(7.45MB at 360's worst) or more of data or code from disc the wii will be faster than 360. The Wii downloading for a short time (~.187 sec) then calculating for a second.

At 60 Frames per second If you download more than 16.75MB/71.218369259606373008434864104967 or ~0.24MB of Data from disc the Xbox360 will be able to do less calculations per frame. At 30 Frames per second it's at least 0.48MB a frame.

AT 60FPS if the Wii downloads for ~.187/71.218369259606373008434864104967 sec at 90 MB/sec then (90)x(.187)/(71.218369259606373008434864104967)=~.24MB then calculates for the rest of the time it will be faster than 360 which will spend (~1.0152)/(71.218369259606373008434864104967) sec downloading the .24MB almost the whole frame.

Lmao. That's not how you calculate it...if I took the CPU out of a Wii and connected it to a toaster, it would have the same amount of GFLOPS. GFLOPS has everything to do with processing power and nothing to do with anything else. This isn't linear equations, there is no if this increases then that increases. If it was that easy why would these companies spend so much time and money making these CPU if it would just be beaten by A REALLY BIG MEMORY CARD!

Get a hammer, toaster, Wii, and a memory card. Smack your Wii a few times. Take all the shiny stuff and put it one toast slot. Take your memory card and put it in other toast slot. Then push down to toast. And you'll have a toaster that can play games. Your games should be pre loaded on memory card for quick reading.
