This game is fascinating in its fail. It's almost like SE really wants it to fail so they can shut servers down and save money for some other project. --- I: 5.7 ; II: 5.9 ; III: 5.4 ; IV: 6.8 ; V: 8.1 ; VI: 7.5 ; VII: 7.9 ; VIII: 9.8 IX: 7.2 ; X: 7.7 ; X-2: 8.6 ; XI: 5.2 ; XII: 9.5 ; XIII: 9.3 ; XIV: 2.6

Truly interesting graph. Most interesting is the lack of any information of what those numbers mean.
Snapshot at X:00 JST? One week averaged daily population? One day's worth of logins? What?

Daily average population per server.

FFXI has a few more servers, but has the same amount of people on each at one time, and it has ~450k subs. But once the free trial ends, I see FFXIV subs dropping to ~200k at the best. I hope they can ready it for the PS3 launch.

At this point, SE is better off renaming Final Fantasy XI to Final Fantasy XIV and hope people who never played FF XI don't notice. I honestly think that's the better option than flogging this dead horse.

that graph shows the total population of my server over 1800 a day
that is total BS, unless they mean individual logins per 24 hours if they mean at any one time it has never been that high since after the first week or two if that

Yeah, sorry but whoever made that chart is on some serious drugs.
Even if those numbers are PEAKS and not averages they are lies.
Using my server as an example and it is off by more than 50%, wtf is with this chart?
