Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance
Spoilers game complete screen (stats)

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that this guy is 75% through the game and some of those stats reflect everything he's done from Act 0. Vanquish did something similar. --- That man is a head taller than me. That may change.
I'll wait to see more impressions of the game before buying, if this whole 5-6 hours is true then I'm gonna wait for the price to drop to $20-30 max. --- Because the door was open. Blue skies. Currently Playing: Ni No Kuni, DoTa 2, LoL, Anno 2070, Xcom: Enemy Unknown.
Guys, I don't know why you're so surprised. P* games are always like this, 5~6 hours of gameplay and they hope for replayability as a way of extending the game time. Some people here seriously thought it was just the Act 1 completion screen? I think you guys have too much wishful thinking going on. First, you say "it's just a demo! The full game will be fully fixed, you'll see!" like if it is the first demo you have ever seen in your lifetime. Then, you say there will be "lots of new moves for the sword, the demo was just the 2nd level, you only had default moves!" even though a skill moves video was just officially released and it shows that the demo had all sword skills unlocked already for you to try, and now this? It's a bit disappointing when you consider it's also a Metal Gear game but it isn't surpising. This game is looking like a complete re-skin of Vanquish the more I look at it, to be honest (Vanquish is great by the way, but I agree that maybe it isn't a great $60 game). The Blade Mode is just like the Slow Time thing in Vanquish, just notice how it has the same programming behind it, the title screen and Mission select looks to be the same, complete screen like shown by the TC looks just like Vanquish's complete screen and it looks like the VR missions will be just like the Challenge Missions Vanquish had. Platinum Games is a good company that has some amazing ideas, but I think $60 is a bit too much for their games when they rely so much on Harder Difficulty settings as replayability. I still have my copy pre-ordered, but let's face it, they're not perfect. --- Aion is just like all other WoW clones, I mean, the Mage in Aion has a Fireball spell and can make Portals. WoW ANYONE??? - Aion Boards
People seems to be really bothered by the length of this game. Even though all MG games have been always short, but still has a high replay value.
Well that was a wall of text and to be honest im not about to read it. What i did read was mostly irrelevant. Also the stats are FAR too low for end game completion. --- With your power you can do nothing: Not One Single Thing - Pain PSN: look at my name, GT: ShadowSiege420
Yeah, chop off the cutscenes in previous Metal Gear games and you've got a 2-3 hour game. I remember telling my gaming buddies that I finished MGS2 in three hours back then and they called me a liar. Metal Gear games don't have huge playthroughs. Their value is in being able to replay the game to earn bonuses like infinite ammo or stealth camo and to discover the huge amounts of easter eggs everywhere. --- Frank Zappa is God. Fact. King of Heroes, do you have enough swords?!
SHMYazoo posted... Guys, I don't know why you're so surprised. P* games are always like this, 5~6 hours of gameplay and they hope for replayability as a way of extending the game time. Some people here seriously thought it was just the Act 1 completion screen? So you'd rather play a game like Assassin's Creed 3 with boring a** combat for 20 hours than game with lightning fast and fun combat for 6 hours? Yah your opinion is garbage. Metal gear solid games if you cut out the cutscenes usually have 4-6 hours of gameplay so yah. I guess if you were playing games around SMB3 release time you'd not pay 60 bucks for that because it had 3 hours of gameplay. New school gamers need to get out because your trash opinions are why I have to sit through hours of cutscenes or lengthy sections of games just added to make the game feel bulkier, instead of a fun core that allows me to play a game 1000 times. I played DMC3 over 10000 hours and that game was about this length.

Starting on harder difficulty should partially solve this problem. But then again, if you don't count cutscenes, 6 hours is pretty normal for a H&S game.

I doubt they would let him do that, especially when length is a definitive factor in someone's purchase. --- With your power you can do nothing: Not One Single Thing - Pain PSN: look at my name, GT: ShadowSiege420 |
