Damn, you're probably right.

It did seem a little sketchy when he brought up EA for seemingly no reason.

Good H&S usually aren't too long because the developers spend a lot of time balancing and tweaking the combat so it's actually good (and repayable). This is why other action games get old after the first playthrough, while with MGR I'm not even sick of it yet (along with God Hand, DMC3, NG, etc). The only really long H&S game that still had great combat mechanics was NG:S1 for me, though a lot of that was from exploring and non-combat sections.

I like that MGR:R didn't have dumb platforming like DmC, stupid side quests or fetch quests, 5 hours of cutscenes, extensive game sections that don't actually play like the main game, etc..

Must be all the new gamers complaining about length, because as a kid I played through all my "60 dollar" games 1000 times despite them all being 2-3 hours long.

all i have to say is this.

i bought DmC for 60$ and the story is arooooouuunnnd 5-6 hrs? but guess what? By the time i was done with that game i was at around 49hrs! is that enough time for 60$?

cause i may have beat this at 5 hours but guess what im going through again on a different difficulty,new weapons,skins and moves and then prob going to do it a few more times, or until i platinum it! sooooo sounds like money well spent!
