Uncharted, DMC, etc are certainly not 6 hour games. The only one I can think of that is realistically 6 hour full experience is Heavenly Sword. Oh yeah.. Zone of Enders. Damn those were short. |
Jason_HudsonPosted 2/19/2013 12:57:01 PM | To anyone saying CoD (or Battlefield 3, since that has a short campaign too): Those games are tailored with multiplayer in mind. It is your problem if you do not like the multiplayer/don't have the means to play multiplayer, the game has the option there. It is not tacked on multiplayer like a lot of games have.
To further add to CoD's defence, Black Ops 2 (the newest one out) has offline Zombies and Combat Training [which is basically multiplayer vs bots] for those without a connection.
Anyway I can add to the list - Battleship. I believe that was around the 4 hour mark in fact. It had no multiplayer. --- "My name is Spartan Jay, the greatest Black Ops 2 player of all time. Because I am on your team, this team will win" ~ Spartan Jay |

oh that's right most NES and SNES games were about 50~60 bucks. Actually with inflation tacked out they were much much more then that ;p --- 3570k @ 1.260v - 4.6Ghz, GTX 580 @ 980/2106, ASUS Sabertooth z77, 8GB G.Skill Sniper 1600MHZ, Intel 335 SSD (boot). |

My friend commissioned me to draw some of the characters from it, so I asked him if I could borrow the game just to get to "know" them rather than just Google Image everything.
I showed up at his house five hours later to return it. |

My friend got the game at midnight last night and played it for 2 hours and this morning he played for 2 and a half hours and beat it. What the heck! That is ridiculously short.
only way he could have done that is skip cutscenes and do a speedrun on normal mode or lower
MANY people are clocking 8-9 hours on this game 8-9 hours for $60 is too f***ing short to justify the price much less 5 hours. --- You'll be my John G. |

Can't say anything about the first but the second is about 5 hours with cutscenes included on the first play through. Definitely a very short game but an absolute blast to play. The first one is even shorter and kinda unfufilling. But it didn't matter because it had the demo of MGS2, and that the high-speed mecha combat was unheard of, being a near launch title for the PS2. I pretty sure it was just so Konami could get use to the PS2 hardware, but still sweet. --- "There'd come a time when life'd pull us apart. S'not a reason to avoid people." |
