I voted no... the greatest ninja game will require corrupt japanese samurai war lords and stealth to assassinate them. Thats a "Ninja" game. I game with a fast dude and sword is not a ninja game its a quality hack and slash with a cyborg ninja character.

This game is awesome and I'm loving it, but it hasn't topped Ninja Gaiden Black yet. Still, too early to tell though, not even close to being done with all I want to do in this game.

It's the best Cyborg Ninja game. But Ninja Gaiden takes the cake for best Ninja game. Honorable mention for Shinobi imo.

There's nothing actually "Ninja" about Ninja Gaiden or MGR.

Raiden has a chokuto, which was used by ninja, but other than that, Mark of the Ninja is more "ninja" than this game.
You're a cyborg with an electric sword who runs super fast in broad daylight and fights everyone he meets. Not very ninja to me.
Everyone in MGR is closer to a samurai if anything.

Its an ok game but it doesn't touch Shinobi or Ninja Gaiden Black. Its like comparing Krillin to Goku or even Vegeta.

For action ninja game....maybe. Haven't beaten it yet, but Ninja Gaiden probably takes it.

But for ninja, no. That would be Tenchu Wrath of Heaven.

THIS IS THE BEST GAME EVER!
THIS GAME IS PERFECT AND SHOWS THE BRILLIANCE THAT IS PLATINUM GAMES!!!!!!!


Hahaha, but in an seriousness though, even though Shinobi wasn't as ridiculous as this game, I did enjoy it more (Nightshade was fun).
I'm just waiting on the hype train to calm down a little.
