Don't get me wrong, I am all for metal and hard rock, but holy hell are these songs bad. Even the orchestral stuff outside of boss fights is pretty weak as far as Metal Gear soundtracks go. Factor in the fact that the bosses only have like two lines of dialogue that they repeatedly yell at you all the time combined with the lame voice acting and I think I'll just mute the whole game on future playthroughs. Thank god the game is an absolute blast to actually play, though.
Am I the only one who can't stand any of the noises this game makes? I can't be.

destructoclausPosted 2/22/2013 2:15:40 PM | I'm usually pretty critical of metalcore, heavy metal, progressive rock, etc. but I found this game's soundtrack to be at least tolerable. 5-6 years ago I might have made a topic to relentlessly bash how bad the music is. It's an action game, so I expected corny music but this game's tracks aren't all bad in their context.

silenthillishPosted 2/22/2013 2:22:17 PM | i don't know if i'll stick it 'em on my ipod (like the combichrist stuff in dmc... those tracks make me feel 20 again)- but i think the boss tracks go great with the fights.
