So, wait, am I the only one who doesn't like the soundtrack?

I read on this board that the game soundtrack got sold out on amazon, so I think most people liked it. I got the digital version.

Not that I'm aware of. Amazon seems to have copies to my knowledge.

Yes you are. How does it feel to be the only person in a sea of almost 7 Billion that doesn't like a particular game's soundtrack? Must be nice.

I'd hardly call utter loneliness "nice", impressive as my situation is. I guess I could start some super exclusive club or something, that might be fun. Just me, all alone, chilling out, playing this game on mute. Man, could you imagine being the president of the world's most exclusive club? Surely that would distract from the crushing loneliness I'd be experiencing, if only for a few minutes.

Thanks, Gobstoppers. Once again, you've gotten me through a tough time in my life.

I wouldn't put the songs from this game on my MP3 player or anything but I think they sound amazing in the context of the game. Mistral's and Sam's theme ESPECIALLY.

So yeah kind of double standarding, I wouldn't like these songs at all if I just got them off of a random CD but while playing I can totally feel them.

Soundtrack is awesome to me.

The only thing I wasn't feeling was the Credits song. :/

Look out it's serious music guy

I only listen to indie bands & ****.

Or

Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Metallica was much better when blah blah blah blah blah blah.

Or

Glenn Danzig was a monster back in *insert date before the douchey poster was even born*.

I think the OST kicks ass but I'm of the belief that an ost should be judged by how well it complements the on screen imagery.
RIsing's music does a good job of keeping the adrenaline flowing.
The only thing I hate are the awful vocals but at least it's better than the crappy Nu-metal from the Devil May Cry games. (The original series, although DmC's music is also crap.)

This is not nu-metal.

None of the songs in the DMC games were. DMC1 was very techno oriented with guitar riffs to chugg it along and DMC3 and 4 had mostly industrial rock with a tad bit of electronic. The main themes were absolutely kick ass. Nevermind all the vergil fight themes. Same goes for Nelo Angelo battles in 1, as well as the main theme, sparda's theme, and some of the orchestral songs.

This OST is probably one of the best in history when it goes for the Hack n Slash genre.
Anyone giving mass hate over it must have a really pathetically poor taste in music. The soundtrack selling out should be indicative to the quality & effort put into it.

I assume you must be deaf, TC?

Loved the solos, would have preferred if all the boss fights were just shred solos with no vocals and a Metal backing track.

Currently looking forward to: Devil May Cry 5 and The Rapture.

Whoa, slow down there. The whole nu-metal, metal core style is embarrassing. It sounds like Sonic the hedgehog.
