That's an opinion. Not a fact.

Fact: "boss weapons have barely any moves"
What you said: "boss weapons have too few moves" <opinion

Fact: "the last few levels do get really short,"
What you said: "the game is too short" <opinion

You need to learn the difference my friend.

I didn't feel the game was too short. I wasn't counting chapters and judging how long they were individually either. So, I felt the length was just fine. But of course, that's just my opinion.

Yes, what he meant my "stop unlocking moves half way through the game" is how the game lacks moves in general, there are what, 6 sword moves? That's too little for a Hack n Slash game. The same can be said for boss weapons, If all of them had a decent amount of moves It would compensate for the lack of sword moves, but that wasn't the case.

The game IS short. But that's something to be expected from a Hack n Slash game, but that doesn't make It not short, It is. I clocked 9 hours on my first playthrough on REAL LIFE CLOCK, not game clock, that's short. Comparing the last few levels to the first ones, hey, THEY'RE EVEN SHORTER. If you had 4 "2 hours" chapter and 2 "10 minutes" chapter, those 2 chapters that last 10 minutes are in a way, too short, get It? Once again, that's more like a fact.

It's amazing how people get so defensive about this game. I had LOTS of fun with It, but still, I'm not afraid to point out flaws that are clearly there.

^Look, it's simple. I disagree with pretty much everything he said because they were opinions. You can't disagree with facts. I disagree with you too. Least I know these are opinions of mine and not facts of reality. It's as simple as that. Disagree with me all you want. Not gonna change my opinion. I love this game. Call me a fanboy if you want, but I'll proudly stick up for it when someone thinks they're laying down facts that are opinions.

True, got a point.
I just feel it's a bit redundant when you understand what he's saying.
Just cause he's exaggerating a bit doesn't mean he's not stating underlying facts.
Exaggerations for emphasis is as american as making racial remarks and talking about freedom.

They only had one years to make it. They picked up the project in December 2011. They said they wished they had more time but Kojima kept them on the tight schedule. They were no hard feels though.

My respect for Platinum Games just when up a little. To make a game like this in a year or so is pretty impressive. Other than the camera angles going all over the place every now and then, this game runs very smoothly. Better than some other games I've played that have been in development for much longer.

Gotta remember that half the work on this game was already done before they nabbed it.
Blade Mode? Konami
Boss designs? Konami
Basic enemies? Konami
Story? Konami (Oddly enough)

All Platinum had to do was make the levels, make sure Blade Mode didn't crash your console, enemy AI, and difficulty changes, among other small things.
Not trying to hate though, but atleast a good half of the game was already done for them.
You also gotta factor in that they had to convert MGSRs assets to their in-house engine too.

Yes in that one year they had to create the combat system, boss fights, cut scenes, codecs, level design, all dialog, debug, etc. So they didn't have any time to build and other new matrial like more levels and more bosses. The game wasn't as great as it could of been but it is understandable why. If they had another year then this game could of easily had 17 chapters like bayonetta (Some were revisits). With the time kojimas team wasted and next gen right around the corner, it was either finish it now, start from scratch on next , or scrap the game completely.
