R04 No kills, S rank. Is it possible?

I'm thinking no due to the lobby fight, but maybe... somebody's done it here in this board and would like to confirm or deny it.

Getting a No-kills tag on that level isn't too hard, but in conjunction with S-rank it's impossible. You can cheese your way around it and get the No-kill tag in a seperate runthrough of the level after having S-ranked it. That way it will show both S-rank and No Kill afterwards on the final result screen during chapter select.

But in one go, impossible. You have to kill a few of those guards with ranged weapons as they will never approach you.

There should be a Blade Mode knife toss so you can dismember limbs from afar.

There is no such thing as a "Quick Time Event done right".
A game that has Quick Time Events is a "video game done wrong".

This. Raiden has several knives on him, yet he doesn't use any except in that sewer cutscene...

What about if you were to use the wooden sword? Will that count as a kill?

Can you imagine the bad assery? Especially in conjunction with the wall running physics that should've been implemented..

The part you mention about the No-Kill Tag is not possible as the game only keeps your highest performances.

In the case of R-04 we can only get an S-Rank with a No-Damage tag. The No-Kill tag is impossible due to fight 2. If you replay the chapter you can get the No-Kill tag but it won't save and won't show up in your chapter select screen.

It won't. But there are enemies at a distance that you cannot reach without sub-weapons, thus you have to kill a few.

Hm. My apologies! This I did not know!
