Anyone want to create a .gif?

Hi.

I'd like a .gif of the part in the video log cutscene where the cyborgs briefly place their left hands to transfer data before doing a shift change. Can anyone make that for me? I'm not entirely sure how to make .gif files, and I need it for the wiki.

Fine, I'll try to find instructions on how to do .gif files if that's what I have to do.

It's not filled with viruses, is it? Don't want to risk infecting my computer, after all.

If you have any kind of anti-virus, I think it would protect you from something like that. <_<

I personally user a program called LICEcap. Pretty bare bones, but easy to use.

Come to the board in my profile for random discussion. Though mainly anime.

Okay, I downloaded it. Now what? What do I do to actually access it?

Edit: Never mind, that download was for another product by accident. NOW I've actually downloaded it and can access it. Still, can someone inform me how to save videos onto my computer, particularly from Youtube? I need to do that if I'm going to convert to .gif.

Maybe Doopliss isn't kicking ass, but he's taking names!

I use Photoshop and opening a big video file on it makes my computer slow to a crawl

I dunno how the other programs work, but with VirtualDub it's incredibly simple to cut videos to whatever length you want

With LICEcap, it just records what's on the selected portion of the screen and makes it a gif. You can use Youtube's pop-out window feature (on the rightclick menu in videos) to adjust the size.
