So MGR:R players, what are you playing now and why isn't it MGR:R?

Raeng, thanks for the help. But I'm definitely not gonna bother with Mission Mode. I would if the game ran at consistent 60 fps and was more responsive. As it stands, it's far from unplayable. But the game requesting precision when it can't offer precision itself is just stupid.

Fair enough. If you wanted any more advice for NGS2 team missions, you could ask RebornLS yourself. Or if you're just looking for a nice place to hang out and chat about games... we have a little Ninja Gaiden community website called NinjaArchives.com. Feel free to register for the forums if you'd like! ;)

(PS - That goes for anyone else, too. It's a small little place, but friendly. The only real rule is to play nice with others. And don't post illegal stuff or porn. :P)

Last couple nights I've started playing through Dead Space (the first one) for Halloween. Great atmosphere in this beast, they do a GREAT job of making it feel tense and creepy. This was the real RE5 for me. (I'd played DS before but never owned it until this week.)

Tonight I think I might do the Revengeance mode speedrun / 0 death title in MGR, though. Then I have to do the silly 'insane playtime' run where I'll probably have to leave the ps3 on overnight or something. The game timer doesn't run during CODECs, does it?

I stopped playing this for a few months then put it back in. Probably have almost 60 hours logged in. Played the Jetstream Sam and Bladewolf dlc again and some of the VR missions. KInd of lost interest in GTA5 and waiting for Batman-Arkham Origins to hit this Fri. MGR-R is an awesome game really is fun to play , will never get rid of.

Hope P* makes a sequel. Still waiting on Cyborg ninja skin to release sep for dlc on PSN.

As a diehard MGS fan I really enjoyed MGR-R. It's what I always wanted to experience in the MGS universe being the Cyborg Ninja (Raiden).

I shouldn't think so, because I went for "Amateur Radio Operator" on my first run through the game and didn't get the title. There's a chance it does, though, because I didn't actually get the trophy; Courtney has a hell of a lot of alternate codec calls because of all the bits where she asks you if you want to save.

Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies.

Why? Because it's Ace Attorney.

Do not leave the game in the codec screen, do not pause, do not turn off your controller (this forces the game to pause). Plug it in, since if it turns off automatically the game will pause. You have to be in the actual game portion. This means that you leave Raiden standing somewhere, background music and all.

Well I finally came back to this game and finally got that Thunder God title, or should I say "Master of Thunder" for the censoring. This makes my 6th Metal Gear game with the top title/codename.

Playing now: Mass Effect Trilogy (About to beat the 3rd one)

Why not MGS:R?: Cause, I loved the crap out of this game, and as such, I beat it on all difficulties, got all upgrades, beat all DLC. I got my moneys worth out of it but there is just nothing else to do, but that don't mean I won't pop it in just for fun every now and then. I didn't do the VR missions but those are so cheap to the point they are not fun.

GTAV

There really isn't a reason to explain myself there

EXPLAIN YOURSELF, SON!

I still think I liked GTA II on the PC best. For whatever reason the 3d ones do nothing for me. 1 billion sales in 3 days, eh? Crazy stuff! :)

its just everything about GTA series, most particularly its storyline and voice acting and the tremendous effort they simply put into each game. Gameplay is fun and relaxing too and I haven't found myself getting bored of it yet. GTAV hasn't left my console since the day of release. I already have 100% on it but now I'm going to try and conquer on-line mode.

I'm doing a faux big boss run in MGS4 in preparation for my real big boss run. No alerts, no kills, no recovery items, low run time, ect. only exception is that Im doing it on solid normal instead of boss extreme. Its actually really fun and not as hard as I imagined it to be. I'm currently on act 3, the last part of following the dude, the patrolling truck with the searchlight is proving to be a problem.

You've already started, but I found a practice run on hard (Foxhound) to be fully representative of what you will be doing on extreme (Big Boss emblem). Due to the progressively increasing enemy sight/hearing, there are things you will be able to easily pull off in normal that you would have difficulty pulling off in hard, and almost impossible altogether in extreme, for example. As for the searchlight, you can just equip a facecamo and you can run around in plain sight.
