Clear Windy Prairie when it's a boss and then immediately spend money at the terminal to try and recruit it. When you do that, the odds of Draggy popping out are actually pretty good.

Is that proven?

Yeah. It works on every boss, and rare pokes in general. I got the legendary birds that way, also.

The downside is that the pokes strength corresponds to the area done, so if he's looking for a Dragonite that will clean house in EX, this method isn't going to cut it.

I should add that EX bosses work for this as well, the downside being they're all random. The Articuno I got through this ended up being my most powerful poke yet (over 2300.)

This has NEVER worked out for me. I've done it multiple times and the only time I've gotten the boss pokemon was from 10+ tries.

Ass luck is ass luck, I guess. It's been quite reliable for me, unlike the move gumball machine.

YEah, that method worked for me too, you can't go to any other stages after you beat the boss though, you have to go DIRECTLY and spend, or else it won't work.

(Stupid gumball machine, it broke me at least 8 times trying to get good moves....)

When trouble strikes, its best to just calm down, take off your pants, and go get a physical.
