With a bit more testing i think it is possible to run origin and bf3 without it origin accessing more than it should.Has anyone been able to sandbox origin and bf3 and work without error? Or do they hit a brick wall like me when it gets to the browser and cant ping any servers and hints at a possible firewall error?

I have the same problem. When I run BF3 through sandboxed Origin, it opens up BattleLog just fine, but I can't connect to any server. If I have Origin already running sandboxed, and I manually open BattleLog from a non-sandboxed browser, it hangs on "Joining game" whenever I try to connect to a server.

The trick is to manually start a browser in the sandbox and direct that new browser to battlelog and login manually
