..absolutely atrocious. I have my PC setup on my 52" flat screen as a super-console and love to game on my couch with my gamepad. Most modern games support it perfectly. Battlefield 3, however, has the most akward support for it. Keep in mind I mostly use it for single player and do K+M for mp. For instance, during the SP campaign there are many scripted moments where you have to push a certain button to perform an action. I was playing with my xbox gamepad just fine and then BAM "Hit Left Mouse button" pops followed by "SPACE". For those looking to play with a gamepad, this makes it extremely akward.
Wondering now if xpadder would make things more responsive. Coming from consoles with a new pc, this sucks. I could dominate any FPS on consoles and now I'm trying to play single player with my xbox controller and can't aim for s***.
Yea man, I bought it for the PC thinking I'd be able to comfortably use my controller for SP and push the new frostbite engine to the extreme. Now I just wish I would of gotten for the xbox. Oh well! Game on.
I am sad to hear this as i was going to bring my pc home this weekend to play single player on big screen( i live at school), sit back and play with xbox controller. I started playing the first couple missions with kb and mouse and they were hard enough that way. But being able to sit back and enjoy some single player without retracting myself from my girlfriend would be great, so if anyone has a workaround for these moments where you are required to hit e, mouse button, or space with use of 360 controller would be great!
