..absolutely atrocious. I have my PC setup on my 52" flat screen as a super-console and love to game on my couch with my gamepad. Most modern games support it perfectly. Battlefield 3, however, has the most akward support for it. Keep in mind I mostly use it for single player and do K+M for mp. For instance, during the SP campaign there are many scripted moments where you have to push a certain button to perform an action. I was playing with my xbox gamepad just fine and then BAM "Hit Left Mouse button" pops followed by "SPACE". For those looking to play with a gamepad, this makes it extremely akward.

There's a really simple solution to this, you know.
Antec 900 Two ~ Asus P5Q SE Plus ~ Intel Q8400 @ 2.67ghz ~ 4GB DDR2 800 ~ ATI Radeon HD 4890 1GB ~ Enermax Liberty 620W ~ Seagate 500GB HDD

Have you noticed a messed up input lag as well? I don't feel in control because of it... I keep overshooting and stuff.

Definate slight input lag. *SLIGHT EARLY SPOILER*

The scene on the bridge right before the quake in SP was insanely difficult with the xbox controller.

Wondering now if xpadder would make things more responsive. Coming from consoles with a new pc, this sucks. I could dominate any FPS on consoles and now I'm trying to play single player with my xbox controller and can't aim for s***.

Yea man, I bought it for the PC thinking I'd be able to comfortably use my controller for SP and push the new frostbite engine to the extreme. Now I just wish I would of gotten for the xbox. Oh well! Game on.

Odd... typically with built in support it shows "A" and "B" etc., instead of the keyboard buttons.

They have a history of bad gamepad support.

I am sad to hear this as i was going to bring my pc home this weekend to play single player on big screen( i live at school), sit back and play with xbox controller. I started playing the first couple missions with kb and mouse and they were hard enough that way. But being able to sit back and enjoy some single player without retracting myself from my girlfriend would be great, so if anyone has a workaround for these moments where you are required to hit e, mouse button, or space with use of 360 controller would be great!

How did you even get the xbox 360 controller to work? I did not see an option for this in the menus
