Hey all, I'm thinking about purchasing a used desktop for gaming as my laptop is getting very outdated. Just wondering how battlefield 3 would hold up with these specs and if this purchase is worth my time and money.

3 gig ram
600 watt power supply
evga gtx 260 core 216 superclocked edition
320 gig baraccuda hard drive
5.1 surround sound card
cooler master heat sink

Probably run decently on medium settings, what resolution are you going to be playing at though?
Of course I was elected, Sweet America.

The GPU is okay(probably low or medium smooth, depending on the resolution

For multiplayer, I'm not sure if the CPU is going to cut it

too slow; I run on an E8400 and with a Radeon 6670 I am barely breaking 40 fps on all low at 720p with 5 GB of RAM.

I would advise just getting a brand new budget build instead of a used PC.

CPU is barely enough. RAM is kinda tight, but doable. GPU is good enough for medium.
