how do you interpret the google doc to tell you which combination to try?

Yeah.. the last song on the album is named "Love".. and the shape the three red cubes make is a heart. This could be a possibility..

Here's a list of possible words matching the hint that treyher gave about the first two letters being rotations of each other.

Well, I was planning on getting the album anyway, so.

Though I think I'll wait for the physical release, which will come later.
is a great bokstav.

Does it have a song titled "Love"?
#457joshrhollowayPosted 4/16/2012 10:34:44 PM

This list of words is based on a few assumptions that may or may not be wrong. Those are:

1. It's an English-language word that's in the dictionary.
2. The word is 7 or 8 characters long. (treyher is unclear on this)
3. The word begins with two characters that are a rotation of each other using the FEZ alphabet.

isn't there some process to turn audio files into image files? I think that was the solution to a Portal 2 arg puzzle.

We should just brute force this thing. 8^7 is a lot of different inputs, but I think we should ignore the left and right inputs first. Those aren't in the other code, and I assume it's because those inputs can force you to move off the symbol. That only makes it 8^5, which is quite a bit more manageable.

You're incorrect.

(number of options per choice) ^ (number of choices made)

So 7^8 --> 5^8

This gets reduced further by treyher's hints, so 5^7 seems more accurate, but still more than the seeming reality.

Yes, that's correct. My bad. Ok, I made a list of all the inputs to brute force excluding left and right inputs (for now). Someone should put them in the google docs.

I can confirm something about the ost. It was on spotify early and rich (musician) and Phil had it pulled because of spoilers. Knowing rich and his involvement with game design, it makes total sense that the music should play a big part of it. Hmmm!
