Monolith Topic (Cont.)

Heres a compilation of all of the information regarding the several monolith theories.

Owls:
-The 13 circles. The 64-bit name of God.
-Hexahedron. Octahedron. Dodecahedron.* Her sacred geometry.
-The many are one. The one is many.
-A point of origin. After and beyond.

The Paintings from the library (from left to right upon entrance):
Library. (right outside where the tome was found)
House next to the tree (two stages above the main warp zone... an owl is found there)
Puking waterfall (this is strange because the waterfall is shown on the left side)
I can't tell what this is http://imgur.com/5vtnI (tall, stone. two trees on either side.)
The library building itself.
Gomez's world.
The prehistoric world.
The ancient world.

The concentric circles:
1 circle - Starting Village
2 circles - At the top the arch-like island off of the first "warp" area.
3 circles - On top of bell tower
4 circles - ? (Possibly on top of the tree on top of the heart cube pyramid)
5 circles - Prehistoric village
6 circles - Crying waterfall island
7 circles - "Future" village past
8 circles - "Future" village present

All of the concentril circles overlaid: http://i.imgur.com/l7ohd.png

Large tome letters(left to right): PEABAUAB

Tome translation (Page order 1 5 2 6 3 7 4 8):
FROM OUT OF NOWHERE
IMPOSSIBLE VISITORS
OUR BENEFACTORS

WATCHING OVER US
IN THE HIDDEN FOLDS OF SPACE
IN FRONT OF BEHIND

GIVE THE GOLDEN GIFT
A DEEP REVELATION
OUR EYES WIDE OPEN

SHAPES TO TESSELLATE
WITH SACRED GEOMETRY
AN EMPIRE TO BUILD

A NEW PERSPECTIVE
THINGS UNSEENS BUT ALWAYS THERE
A NEW DIRECTION

THE HEXAHEDRON
THE SIXTY FOUR BIT NAME OF GOD
THE POINT OF ORIGIN

A PATTERN A CODE
A DEEP UNDERSTANDING
A GATE TO THE STARS

ALL OF TIME AND SPACE
AND THE SPACE OUTSIDE OF SPACE
WHERE DOES IT END

Letters:
A, G, M and S are rotations of each other.
B, H, N and T are rotations of each other.
C, I, O, U and V are rotations of each other.
D, J, P and W are rotations of each other.
E, K, Q, X and Z are rotations of each other.
F, L, R and Y are rotations of each other.

List of all words with the first two letters being rotations of each other(from above list):
https://gist.github.com/2403690
1. It's an English-language word that's in the dictionary.
2. The word is 7 or 8 characters long. (treyher is unclear on this)
3. The word begins with two characters that are a rotation of each other using the FEZ alphabet.

halfrobo's assumptions:
a) the third red cube is needed to complete a shape which looks VERY much like the kokoromi logo;
b) the authorial nature of the game, and the presence of the creator in the game, has already been referenced in the "security question" where half of the answer was half of "Polytron";
c) the key to the monolith is not found in the game according to treyher; therefore it must have something to do with the developer personally, the development groups they've been in, or the themes of the game (sacred geometry etc) or maybe released with the soundtrack;
d) we may be looking for a 7 or 8 letter word but with fewer than 8 different letters (probably 5) where the first two letters map to the same rotated-symbol-set in the game, and joshrholloway has provided us with a big set of possible English words;
e) something may have poked Gomez's eye out in the future, thus turning him into the eyepatch'd Geezer;
f) the 64-bit name of G-d, like other numerological / alphabetic names of god (the true pronunciation of the Tetragrammatron, etc) may be a forbidden name, one which "chokes the speaker" so that it may not be uttered. This could be why the parchment with the other half of the floor symbol in the monolith room has been burnt;
g) the monolith is very obviously NOT a cube, but a more elongated shape reminiscent of the 1:4:9 geometry of the 2001 monolith;
h) the values written on the chalkboard in old Zu are in two columns. Both columns involve only FIVE of the six digits (or die-faces) from 1-6 and add up to 33 (3 = trixel / 3rd dimension + doubled = tesseract/hypercube) -- and 33 is also the age that both Jesus and John Belushi died;
i) the creator and designer of Fez is 33 or was at some point during the development of this game; he is said by many to LOOK like John Belushi but ACT like he believes himself to be Jesus;
h) the above facts remind me of one of the creator's pre-release tweets to the community, which I believe was later deleted (due to spoilers?!) but has been saved by several Fez fansites: http://thewiredfish.files.wordpress.com/2012/03/phil-fish-tweet.jpg
i) check out this photo of the designer/creator which was taken about six months prior: http://farm7.staticflickr.com/6046/6219810638_d31e6162c3_z.jpg and note what large capital letter he's standing under. This may be a clue, the first letter in the word;

Did anyone else notice this as him either intentionally or accidentally leaking that there isn't an LT/LB button press? Perhaps 7*4... 2401 combinations... now it really doesn't sound that difficult!

This and beginning with two rotations of each other... which could only mean up,down or down,up... and then 5 other inputs... so this is now 5*4! If it's one of these, I think I should be thanked for making brute forcing a hell of a lot easier ;)

1250 combinations!!

Someone else beat you to it, but this thread is much more informative and better.

Did you actually include halfrobo's stuff?! I'm 500% certain he was joking (though I suppose he did include some minor facts)

This thread is better. Well done.

Has anyone taken the alphabet cube and corresponded every letter on it (i.e., including rotations) to the number cube?

I don't see what this would achieve, but if no one has done it I can give it a go later, just to see if anything becomes apparent.

I tried to include everything that looked relevant, except for the repetitions like "the solution has 8 buttons" and stuff

So is the plan to wait until this album comes out? Or are we going to attempt to go through with the bruteforce attempt?

I guess either or at this point?

So the final passage in the tome mentions space, and the question has been brought up, where does it end? Has anyone tried flying in the monolith room for an extremely large amount of time?
