A few weeks ago my friend and I tackled the translation of the tome and the monolith room together and we noticed that the yellow/gold symbol on the front of the tome, and the red lines on the ground of the monolith room are Mobius Strips

(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M%C3%B6bius_strip).

They're infinite in nature, have only 1 side (despite looking like they have too) and the numbers 0 and 1 are important in their construction (which may explain the 0 and 1 on the ground in the Monolith room.



SIDE NOTE AND SPOILERS : Did any musicians out there notice the pattern in which you need to read the pages of the Tome in order to translate it? 8, 4, 7, 3, 6, 2, 5 ,1..the Circle of Fifths! Which is, I suppose an example of an infinite loop, or a mobius strip.

If only you came up with this a couple months ago, before everyone brute forced the monolith puzzle

Ok, so the Lost and Prisoner references in the soundtrack clearly point to the numbers being important. So how can we take the numbers given in the soundtrack and tally them up with the identified sequence? You said 10 tracks contain numbers? Would you mind posting them here and their sequence so we don't have to keep referring back to the other thread?

How many direction entries were needed for the cube again? Was it 8 as well? How can we tally the directions against any of the numbers?

It means that 10 tracks: 1, 7, 11, 12, 15, 16, 17, 19, 20, 24 don't have anything, maybe that's also a clue (same number of items as in the QR code number list).

Now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure the dates (or numbers) of the QR code are meant to help uf figure out something with the tracks without pictures. Maybe something related to the year + name of the track.
