This game is Pay2Win Freemium garbage

This wasn't meant to be a troll post. However, it's a bit ridiculous that you have to griiiind so hard just to get a different weapon while they keep dangling essentially the "in app currency purchases" in front of your face.

Not to mention the actual gameplay just isn't fluid whatsoever. Yet, the game is free so 5/10, wont be playing again though.

You dont have to grind that hard at all to try a new weapon.

Most weapons you can just dump 2-3 days worth of passive SP or a few games worth of active SP to get the standard level version of a gun and see if you like it. Upgrading any further than that isnt really necessary, the damage increase from standard to proto is about 10%, while the ISK, cpu, and pg costs skyrocket. Upgrading is only really worth it for weapons that get a secondary benefit from upgrading, or for weapon variants that are locked to upper tiers.

The most expensive gun, SP wise, is probably the HMG, or the forge gun, and they only take about a weeks worth of SP, of which the active SP can be knocked out in 2-3 days.

Weapon operation skills are generally 2x multiplier skills, they take very little SP to max out compared to other skills.

Also, theres always the option of making a throwaway alt character for testing other types of gear, 500,000 SP is enough to try out just about anything at the basic level.

even with good weapons and equipment its no guarantee you will win. its all based on how good your team is.

This game has problems but being pay to win is not one of them.

Unfortunately this :/

In Dust even doing the work of five people can only delay your defeat for so long, even if two other people are picking up the same slack, it'll mean absolutely dick if you don't at least have meat to soak up bullets and do an occasional kill/hack -__-''

Thats just kinda how it is in the Eve- work together or die alone. It's not a game for solo artists, sure you CAN do it - you can do anything you want, but the likelyhood of succuss and fun is much lower.

Thats Eve at least, i am a total noob to Dust, lol.
