Much like how GTAV was "going to kill Dusts population"?

A whopping 500 people left if that

I find it hilarious that for a game that aspires to be a sandbox experience, dust has the least freedom of any game i have ever played.

500 out of 4000 is a lot.

Not really, especially because theres no proof all 500ish left specifically for GTA

500 of out 4000?

You mean 500 out of 3000, Dust struggles to reach 4000 during peak hours.

In fact, the maximum amount of concurrent players in the last 24 hours was 3415.

Yes 500 of 4000.

Dust average prior to GTA was 3700ish with 4000ish max

Dust average after was 3000ish with 3500ish max

My point is BF4 will simply take the people who dont like Dust but play Dust because their waiting for BF4 away, much like GTA did

You're missing out.

Light Duel was awesome. If only because of the unique-ness of a one-dimensional fighting game. And yes, I mean that literally. One-dimensional graphics as well.

Back on-topic though, I don't play DUST a whole lot any more, but it's not because of BF4 or GTA or the other big names you're focusing on. I'm playing Armored Core: Verdict Day too much lately. I still pick up DUST intermittently, and I'll go back to it properly at some point, but I'm kind of obsessed with Verdict Day right now. If you haven't played it, you should. Giant robots are awesome.
