In close battle with a sniper rifle, I NEED TO BE ABLE TO QUICK SCOPE!!! CUZ THAT DAMN PISTOL WON'T DO S***!!! Seriously, we don't need quick scoping? Come on.
The Scrambler Pistol the game gives you on the Sniper Starter Fit has a massive headshot multiplier. Shoot targets in the head for more than 400% damage. It's LETHAL if you're good with it. If you aren't (and to be honest, I'm not), then you can simply equip a different sidearm. I'm quite partial to the SMG personally. No, you don't need quick-scoping.
A good Sniper watches their back, and avoids getting into CQC situations most of the time. The only time you need quick-scoping is when you already screwed up badly enough that you don't deserve the kill. I'd say sorry that the game doesn't give you your undeserved kills, but as a Shotgunner, I'm not sorry at all.
And those heavy armed people with a mini-gun need to be able to die. This is why I quit the game!
Heavies are perfectly capable of dying. They have a lot of HP, because they're practically walking tanks, but they're REALLY slow and they have a HUGE head hitbox you can hit for double damage with your Sniper Rifle. I'm not seeing the problem unless you suck at aiming. But then, with your rage about not being allowed to abuse terrible game mechanics, I guess you can't aim.
It took me months to be able to quick scope in the CoD series, it is very hard to quick scope 3 moving targets that are 5 feet away from you firing an ARX-160 with armor piercing rounds. Don't act like it takes no skill.
I'm not saying you can't be more skilled at exploiting badly-implemented aim assist than another player. I'm saying that learning to ACTUALLY aim instead of relying on a terrible "feature" like quickscoping is going to make you a better player in CoD as well as making you semi-competent in DUST and other shooters which don't rely on terrible mechanics to replace actual aiming.
LEARN. TO. AIM.
I'm not going to reply to you any more unless you somehow manage to bring up a valid point that's worth discussing. If anyone else joins in the conversation, I might reply to them if they have something more meaningful to say. But it'll take a pretty impressive change of approach from you to get any more out of me.
